The MLBPA submitted its first official proposal in the current collective bargaining cycle on Wednesday. MLB is expected to respond with a counter-proposal on Thursday. The existing CBA expires December 1. Talks are reportedly ahead of the pace set in 2021, when the league did not counter until August and a subsequent lockout followed.
