§ Subscription Terms

Refunds, cancellation, and access.

Posterior is a digital subscription. The terms below describe how billing, cancellation, and refunds work. Statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation (including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act) are not displaced by this policy.

§ 01

Monthly subscriptions

  • Cancel any time from your account page.
  • Access continues through the end of the paid billing period.
  • Any subscription charge is refundable within seven days of purchase, for any reason, with no substantial-use condition.
  • After seven days, charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where Posterior fails to deliver promised service.

§ 02

Service outages

If a Posterior outage materially prevents access to the publication for more than 24 consecutive hours during the paid subscription period, we will issue an account credit or prorated refund on request.

§ 03

How to cancel or request a refund

  • From the dashboard: Account → Subscription → Cancel.
  • By email: [email protected] from the email address on the account.
  • Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days.

§ 04

Ontario Consumer Protection Act — statutory rights

For internet agreements over $50, Ontario law requires Posterior to:

  • Disclose key terms clearly before purchase.
  • Provide an opportunity to accept, decline, and correct errors before payment.
  • Deliver a copy of the agreement within 15 days of purchase.

If we fail to meet any of these requirements, you may have statutory cancellation rights beyond what is set out above. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

§ 05

Chargebacks

We prefer a direct refund request over a payment-card chargeback. If you initiate a chargeback before contacting support, your account may be suspended pending resolution. We will work with you in good faith on any disputed charge.
