He told reporters Saturday he anticipates missing roughly one month, though the mild grade of the injury leaves open the possibility of an earlier return. Hernández is wary of rushing back after a left groin injury last season became a persistent problem that hampered his performance. He finished 2024 with a .247/.284/.484 slash line, his worst output in six seasons.
