Miami is promoting right-hander Zach Brzykcy, who will face his former team Washington in his Marlins debut.
The Marlins are set to select the contract of right-hander Zach Brzykcy prior to their next game against the Nationals. Brzykcy was originally signed by Washington as an undrafted free agent in 2020 and posted a 10.05 ERA over 28.2 innings across the 2024-25 seasons with the club. Miami must clear both 26-man and 40-man roster spots to accommodate the move.
