The Rockies officially transferred Jose Quintana from the 15-day to the 60-day injured list due to an elbow sprain first diagnosed Monday. Surgery is not currently expected, but the ligament damage means he won't return until late July at the earliest. The move opens a 40-man roster spot, with Jeff Criswell reinstated from the 60-day IL and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque. Quintana's absence likely removes him from consideration as a trade deadline target this summer.
