Kimbrel Lands on IL With Right Wrist Strain
Tampa Bay's newly signed reliever is sidelined through at least June 4 after appearing in just one game with the club.

The Rays placed RHP Craig Kimbrel on the 15-day injured list with a right wrist strain, retroactive to May 28. Kimbrel had signed with Tampa Bay last week after being DFA'd by the Mets, but appeared in only one game — a scoreless inning on May 26. He is eligible to return no earlier than June 4. The move continues a difficult 2025 season for the 38-year-old, who posted a 6.00 ERA in 15 innings with New York.
