Ober Lands on IL With Elbow Inflammation
The Twins lose their right-hander to a 15-day IL stint, marking his fifth career IL placement and first elbow trouble in six years.

Bailey Ober has been placed on the 15-day injured list with elbow inflammation, per The Athletic's Dan Hayes. This is Ober's fifth career IL stint but his first elbow-related absence since a right ulnar nerve subluxation cost him two months in 2019. His return timeline is not yet clear. The move comes at a difficult time for Minnesota, who sit 27-32 and third in the AL Central.
