Uribe is appealing the ruling, which holds the suspension in abeyance and keeps him available to pitch. Manager Pat Murphy called the behavior unacceptable, and Uribe apologized to Brewers personnel but not to the Cardinals. Uribe also publicly criticized Cardinals manager Oli Marmol, alleging Marmol had made threats toward Milwaukee.
