Angels Shake Up Front Office, Bring In Mozeliak As Interim GM

The Angels officially fired GM Perry Minasian after more than five years in the role. Former Cardinals executive John Mozeliak was hired as a baseball operations consultant, taking over day-to-day roster duties on an interim basis. Mozeliak is not a candidate for the permanent GM position and is expected to stay through the end of the calendar year. His primary mandate is to refine the organization's baseball operations strategy and assist in the search for a new general manager.
