The Mets are trading reliever Huascar Brazobán to the Chicago White Sox, according to reports from Ken Rosenthal and Alden Gonzalez. New York receives right-handed pitchers Gabe Davis and Zach Franklin in return. Brazobán has been effective in 2026, posting a 2.61 ERA with 47 strikeouts in 51.2 innings while serving as both an opener and high-leverage reliever. Davis is Chicago's No. 18 overall prospect per MLB Pipeline, while Franklin has spent the season at Triple-A Charlotte.
