Skubal Struggles Post-Elbow Surgery in Return Starts
The Tigers lefty has been hit hard since coming back from nanoscope elbow surgery, raising questions about whether he is fully healthy.

Tarik Skubal returned from IL after nanoscope elbow surgery and has pitched in three starts, posting a 4.96 ERA and 5.85 FIP over 16.1 innings. He has surrendered six home runs in that span, compared to just two in 43.1 innings before the IL stint. His most recent outing came against the Yankees, where he allowed four runs and three home runs in six innings. He is scheduled to start again Tuesday against New York as Detroit looks to clinch the series.
