Casey Schmitt exited San Francisco's win over Milwaukee after coming up lame following a single in the second inning. The Giants scheduled an MRI for the following day. Manager Tony Vitello told reporters Schmitt will likely miss significant time. Schmitt had been a key contributor in the Giants lineup, slashing .271/.301/.483 with 21 home runs across 409 plate appearances this season.
