Mariners Expand to Six-Man Rotation Through All-Star Break
Seattle scraps a planned Gilbert/Hancock piggyback start, opting for extra rest by stretching to a six-man rotation for the remainder of the first half.

The Mariners originally planned a piggyback start pairing Logan Gilbert and Emerson Hancock for today's game. Instead, the team has shifted to a six-man rotation to give starters additional rest before the All-Star Break. Gilbert will start today as scheduled, while Hancock is pushed back to tomorrow. The rest of the rotation will continue in normal order.
