Detroit Tigers reliever Bailey Horn had Tommy John surgery on Wednesday per an official team announcement. Horn had been on the IL all of 2026, having attempted a rehab buildup in April that stalled due to persistent elbow soreness. A ligament tear was ultimately confirmed, requiring reconstructive surgery. He is expected to miss the remainder of 2026 and most or all of the 2027 season.
