The Dodgers are nearing a trade to acquire Tigers ace Tarik Skubal, according to a source cited by Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. Los Angeles would send RHP Emmett Sheehan, Class A RHP Brady Smith, and Double-A OF Zyhir Hope to Detroit. The deal is not yet finalized but described as close. Skubal would represent a major rotation upgrade for the Dodgers.
