Jared Jones Returns from Tommy John-Style Surgery to Start Friday
The Pirates RHP is set to rejoin the rotation after missing over a year following an internal brace elbow procedure in May 2025.

Pirates manager Don Kelly confirmed Jared Jones will start on Friday, marking his first MLB appearance since the 2024 season. Pittsburgh must add him to both the 40-man and active rosters, as he remains on the 60-day IL. Carmen Mlodzinski will shift to the bullpen to make room in the rotation.
