Shohei Ohtani revealed Tuesday that he is dealing with a biceps issue in addition to the knee problem that required a lubricant injection during the All-Star break. He has not pitched since July 3 but has continued playing as a designated hitter in 17 games since. Manager Dave Roberts explained the biceps problem surfaced during a bullpen session in Philadelphia when neither the knee nor the biceps responded properly. Ohtani indicated the team's urgency to push him back to pitching would increase if it were August or September rather than July.
