The Twins officially reinstated catcher Ryan Jeffers from the 10-day injured list following a left hamate bone fracture that kept him out for nearly two months. Before the injury, Jeffers was posting a .295 average and .949 OPS with seven homers and 26 RBIs in 37 games. He completed a five-game Triple-A rehab assignment, batting .375 with two home runs. To clear roster space, outfielder Kyler Fedko was optioned to Triple-A after going hitless in 16 at-bats.
