MRI results confirmed a UCL tear for Dodgers catcher Dalton Rushing. He will be shut down from throwing for at least a few weeks as the team hopes to avoid surgery. Manager Dave Roberts described the chance of Rushing catching again this season as very small. The Dodgers plan to keep him available as a left-handed bat if he is able to return.
