The Phillies have expressed interest in Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post. Jon Morosi of MLB Network also identified Toronto and Philadelphia as potential trade partners, naming Varsho alongside Kevin Gausman, Shane Bieber, Jeff Hoffman, and George Springer as possible fits. Toronto is considered a seller given a 50-59 record and just 7.1% playoff odds per FanGraphs. Varsho is posting a down year with a 93 wRC+ and seven home runs in 354 plate appearances, but remains one of the better available center fielders on the market.
