Blue JaysSignal confidence 85%

Blue Jays right-hander Yimi Garcia is being evaluated for thoracic outlet syndrome after experiencing neck discomfort during his rehab assignment. Garcia has not appeared in the majors in over a year, having suffered an ankle injury in July 2025 followed by an elbow procedure that ended his season. He opened 2026 on the 15-day IL and was transferred to the 60-day IL in late April. His rehab has been repeatedly paused and restarted, and he stopped pitching again midway through June.
