Blue Jays Add Daz Cameron on Minor League Deal
Cameron returns to North American baseball after being released by KBO's Doosan Bears, landing in Toronto's system at the FCL level.
The Blue Jays signed veteran outfielder Daz Cameron to a minor league contract this week, assigning him to their Florida Complex League club. Cameron was recently released by the KBO's Doosan Bears after his production declined late in the season, despite posting a .287/.360/.473 slash line over 314 plate appearances. The 28-year-old has appeared in 160 MLB games across five seasons with Detroit, Oakland, and Milwaukee, slashing .200/.258/.326 in 472 career plate appearances. He was once a top prospect acquired as part of the Justin Verlander trade in 2017.
