The Mets optioned right-hander Tobias Myers to Triple-A Syracuse following Sunday's loss to Philadelphia. Myers allowed 14 earned runs in 8.2 innings across four June appearances, pushing his ERA to 6.21 on the season. He had been exceptional early in the year with a 2.05 ERA through May 2 but has been unable to recapture that form. RHP Joey Gerber was recalled in the corresponding roster move.
