The Mets officially placed Juan Soto on the 10-day injured list with a left calf strain. An initial estimate from Jon Heyman puts his recovery timeline at 4-6 weeks. Soto had been used primarily as a DH this week to manage the lingering issue before exiting Friday's game in the sixth inning. He previously missed nearly three weeks in April with a right calf strain.
