The Mets are trading left-handed reliever A.J. Minter to the Twins, per Jeff Passan of ESPN. Minnesota sends minor leaguers Bruin Agbayani and Billy Amick to New York in exchange. The Twins, sitting at 55-55 and three games back in the AL Central, are in buy mode according to GM Jeremy Zoll. This deal is reportedly the first of several veteran moves New York plans to make.
