Holmes suffered a broken right leg when struck by a comebacker during a start against the Yankees on May 15. He avoided surgery and has since resumed throwing bullpen sessions per the MLB.com injury tracker. Despite posting a 2.39 ERA over 52 2/3 innings before the injury, his trade value is diminished by his health status. He is not expected to pitch in an MLB game before the deadline, though minor league rehab appearances remain possible.
