The White Sox have acquired center fielder Brenton Doyle from the Colorado Rockies as part of their deadline buying activity under GM Chris Getz. Chicago sent right-handed pitcher Mason Adams and shortstop prospect Carlos Vielma to Colorado in return. Doyle, 28, is earning $3.1 million this season and is under team control through 2029. He is regarded as one of the best defensive outfielders in baseball, though his offensive production has been inconsistent outside of a strong 2024 campaign.
