The Mets officially reinstated Christian Scott from the 15-day IL on June 27, with lefty Zach Thornton optioned to Triple-A Syracuse to clear a roster spot. Scott had been sidelined with a right hip impingement but threw a clean bullpen session on June 21 with no issues. He posted a 3.10 ERA across nine starts before the injury. Scott is scheduled to start against the Phillies on Saturday.
