Hoffman carries a 3.94 ERA this season but boasts elite strikeout numbers — 34.9% K rate, fifth-highest among qualified relievers — and a 2.49 FIP that leads all deadline-moved relievers. The Twins, sitting one game under .500 but still in playoff contention, also acquired A.J. Minter and Dean Kremer at the deadline. Hoffman is under contract at $12.67 million through 2027.
