The short version of a quick trip
Tiedemann's time on the active roster lasted only a matter of days. He arrived in Toronto for his MLB debut on August 15, pitched one inning, allowed one run on two hits, and recorded his first career strikeout with a fastball sitting 96-97 mph — then made the return trip to Triple-A once Little was ready to come back. The roster math was always going to work out this way: Little's Paternity List stint created the opening, and Tiedemann filled it for the duration.
What this means for the bullpen
Little slides back into the left-handed relief mix for Toronto. Tiedemann, meanwhile, returns to Triple-A with a big-league appearance on his résumé and a first career strikeout in the books — not a bad souvenir from a brief call-up.
