The Milwaukee Brewers have designated right-hander Carlos Rodriguez for assignment. The move comes in the wake of trades made by the club on the same day. Rodriguez was a two-time Minor League Pitcher of the Year in the Brewers organization. He appeared in 11 major league games over the past three seasons.
