The Brewers designated Lyon Richardson for assignment shortly after adding him to the roster last week. He made one appearance, throwing 1 2/3 scoreless innings, before being DFA'd. After clearing waivers unclaimed, he was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville. Richardson can elect free agency, and given 29 teams passed on him via waivers, any future deal would likely be a minor league contract.
