Brewers Recall Pannone, Option Stallings Before Giants Series Finale
Milwaukee made a pair of roster moves on July 29, bringing up a journeyman starter and sending down Stallings to manage workload.
The Milwaukee Brewers recalled LHP Thomas Pannone from Triple-A Nashville and optioned Garrett Stallings back to Nashville on July 29. Pannone will make his first start as a Brewer and just his second MLB appearance since June 2023. Manager Pat Murphy cited the need to give young arms a rest, with an off day upcoming. Pannone posted a 3.54 ERA in 16 appearances with Nashville this season.
