Cardinals Add Peter Strzelecki on Minor League Deal
The 31-year-old righty brings solid strikeout numbers from Triple-A in 2026 but has not appeared in the majors since 2024.
St. Louis signed right-hander Peter Strzelecki to a minor league contract, per Jon Heyman of the New York Post. Strzelecki had recently opted out of a minor league deal with Milwaukee. He owns a 4.06 ERA with a strong 28.6% strikeout rate and 4.6% walk rate across 31 Triple-A innings in 2026. His MLB track record includes a 3.44 ERA over 83.2 innings from 2022-24 with the Brewers, Diamondbacks, and Guardians.
