Milwaukee designated Bryse Wilson for assignment on Saturday and he was subsequently outrighted, prompting him to elect free agency. Wilson made six appearances for the Brewers this season, posting a 4.24 ERA across 23 1/3 innings with a below-average strikeout rate. He had previously logged brief stints with the Phillies and Cubs in 2025. The Brewers may have interest in re-signing him to a minor league deal, but Wilson will test the open market for a potential MLB roster spot.
