Dodgers manager Dave Roberts confirmed Tuesday that catcher Dalton Rushing is dealing with a partially torn UCL, putting his availability for the stretch run and postseason in doubt. The team discovered the injury one day before the trade deadline, prompting them to acquire catchers Hunter Feduccia and Ben Rortvedt. Rushing had been a breakout performer in 2025, slashing .253/.335/.475 with 12 home runs over 74 games while filling in for the injured Will Smith. Smith is also currently sidelined with a neck injury but is expected to return before the end of the regular season.
