Closer Edwin Díaz surrendered back-to-back triples to open the ninth, surrendering the lead, but escaped further damage. A wild pitch and Shohei Ohtani infield single plated the ghost runner in extras. Reliever Jack Dreyer closed it out for Los Angeles's first win since July 30.
