Dodgers Acquire Seth Halvorsen from Rockies in Intra-Division Deal
Colorado sends the 26-year-old power arm to Los Angeles in exchange for two minor league prospects, with both clubs officially announcing the swap.
The Rockies and Dodgers completed an officially announced intra-division trade sending righty Seth Halvorsen to Los Angeles. Colorado receives minor league righty Nick Frasso and minor league outfielder Landyn Vidourek in return. Halvorsen averages 99.6 mph on his fastball and carries over five years of club control, though his command has been inconsistent across 71 major league innings. He will head to Triple-A Oklahoma City to complete a rehab assignment before the Dodgers decide whether to option or promote him.
