The Dodgers officially reinstated Edwin Díaz from the 60-day injured list after he missed more than three months following elbow surgery in April. Díaz struck out 11 batters across 5 2/3 rehab innings but is averaging 95.7 mph on his fastball, below his pre-surgery 97 mph. Tanner Scott, who served as fill-in closer with a 2.32 ERA in 42 2/3 innings, moves back to a setup role. The Dodgers bullpen ranks second in the majors in strikeout rate and is tied for sixth-fewest blown saves.
