The Red Sox selected right-hander Seth Martinez from Triple-A Worcester, completing their 40-man roster. Martinez, 31, has MLB experience with the Astros (2021–24) and Marlins (2025), carrying a 4.00 ERA in 144 major-league innings. He posted a 5.55 ERA in 60 Triple-A innings this season but offers solid walk and ground-ball rates. Because he is out of options, Martinez must clear waivers if he does not stick on the roster.
