Manager Derek Shelton told reporters Wednesday that Joe Ryan is being sent for testing on his glute and back. Ryan is questionable to make his scheduled Sunday start and could land on the 15-day IL. His struggles have been notable since the All-Star break, posting a 17 runs allowed in 15.1 innings across three starts. His fastball velocity has also dipped, averaging 92.1 mph in his last outing versus a 93.4 mph season average.
