Kendry Rojas Lands on MiLB IL With Oblique Strain
The Twins lefty, a candidate to rejoin the MLB roster down the stretch, is now sidelined with an injury that could end his season.

Minnesota placed Kendry Rojas on the minor league injured list after he left his Triple-A start Friday with an oblique strain. No official timetable has been given, but oblique injuries can be lengthy and may threaten the remainder of his season. Rojas had posted a 3.34 ERA in 29.2 MLB innings this year and was viewed as a potential contributor for the Twins' playoff push. The injury further depletes a rotation already missing Joe Ryan, Mike Paredes, Mick Abel, Pablo Lopez, and David Festa.
