Since overhauling their roster at the Aug. 3 trade deadline, the Mets have gone 7-3 in their last 10 games. The rebuilt bullpen has been a major factor, with Nate Lavender, Jonathan Pintaro, Daniel Duarte, and Kodai Senga combining to shut down the Nationals over the final 4.2 innings of a 4-1 win. Pintaro earned his first career win in just his ninth big-league appearance, throwing two scoreless innings. Interim manager Andy Green credited the scouting staff for finding non-traditional pipeline talent now contributing at the MLB level.
