Noah Schultz, Chicago's second-ranked prospect entering 2025, was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on August 8 after a difficult stretch in the majors. He posted a 6.06 ERA and 4.86 FIP over 15 starts and 65.1 innings since his April debut. The team is working with Schultz on refining his arsenal, including changeup depth and fastball shape. Injuries have also limited his overall professional innings to just 300.
