Orioles president of baseball operations Mike Elias confirmed Selby underwent surgery on his right labrum and rotator cuff earlier this week. The injury stems from shoulder inflammation that developed during Spring Training. Recovery is expected to extend into the 2027 season. Selby had posted a 2.50 ERA in 18 innings since joining Baltimore in July 2024.
