Trevor Story started his rehab assignment with Triple-A Worcester on Sunday following sports hernia surgery. The Red Sox are reportedly considering activating him as early as Friday against the Giants after just one rehab game. Story has missed at least half of Boston's games in three of his five seasons with the club. Interim manager Chad Tracy confirmed Story is expected to return as the everyday shortstop.
