Yankees Prospect Lagrange Out ~6 Weeks With Shoulder Capsular Sprain
Carlos Lagrange placed on Triple-A IL with a throwing-shoulder capsular sprain, pushing his return to late August at the earliest and clouding his 2025 outlook.
Yankees pitching prospect Carlos Lagrange has been placed on the Triple-A injured list with a capsular sprain in his throwing shoulder. The club announced a shutdown period of approximately six weeks, and factoring in a standard throwing ramp-up and rehab assignment, game action before late August appears unlikely. Lagrange's recent use as a reliever may shorten his eventual ramp-up time. If the recovery goes smoothly, he could still be a September call-up candidate for the big league bullpen.
