Rodón IL'd with elbow inflammation, out 4-6 weeks
The Yankees lefty landed on the injured list Friday with left elbow inflammation, and a beat reporter now pegs his return at 4-6 weeks.

Carlos Rodón was placed on the injured list Friday due to left elbow inflammation. Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports the team believes Rodón is 4-6 weeks from returning to a big league mound. The 33-year-old had elbow surgery in October to remove loose bodies, which already delayed his season start. His absence is a significant blow to a Yankees rotation that ranks as a top-10 unit by ERA, strikeout rate, and fWAR.
