Shohei Ohtani hit his 300th career home run Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies, a 409-foot leadoff blast off pitcher Michael Lorenzen. The homer, recorded at 119 mph exit velocity, made Ohtani the first Japanese-born player in MLB history to reach the milestone. He is the fifth-fastest player ever to 300 home runs, reaching the mark in 1,102 games across his time with the Angels and Dodgers. Ohtani now has 20 home runs on the season.
