Langford's Two IL Stints in 2026 Flag Durability Risk for Rangers
The Rangers outfielder has missed time twice this season with separate injuries, limiting his impact despite strong per-game production.
Wyatt Langford has landed on the IL twice in 2026, first with a forearm strain in May and again briefly in early July with a hamstring strain. When healthy, he has posted a 131 wRC+ and projects as a 5-WAR player on a prorated basis. However, his underlying metrics show some regression risk, with his .356 wOBA well above his .309 xwOBA. His popup rate has nearly doubled and his walk rate has dropped by half compared to 2025.
